Welcoming Spring, Honoring People, Celebrating Nature
Spring marks a time of renewal, much like the spirit of Orthodox Easter. As nature blossoms again after a long winter, communities come together to celebrate the triumph of life over death. This season symbolizes not only a natural rebirth, but also a spiritual and emotional rising — a resurrection of hope.
Spring is when we look around and smile like children at red poppies, blooming almond trees, and fields of yellow chamomile. But spring is also when we help people smile, feel safe, and know they matter — because now, they can dream again.
Let’s take a look at what we, the EEA Grants community in Greece, are doing for a kind of “spring” that knows no season.

The “Panhellenic Campaign for Equality in Marriage” aimed to raise awareness and inform the public about the demand for equal marriage rights in Greece for same-sex couples. This was achieved by challenging and breaking down stereotypes, stigma, and homophobia surrounding the issue.
TRACE – TRansforming Access to Health CarE
This project strengthened healthcare services for people with disabilities by providing educational tools to help students and healthcare professionals offer more sensitive and effective care. Through training in health centers, hospitals, and other facilities, we are creating a more accessible and inclusive healthcare system
