March marks a month of celebration for the #new EEA Grants 2021–2028 funding period ✨
Beginning with the signing of the Memorandum of Understanding on 20 March in Athens, we celebrate the #beginning of a renewed partnership between Greece, Iceland, Liechtenstein, and Norway under the EEA Grants.
With €143 million, this new funding period will support projects advancing:
✔️ the green transition
✔️ protection and justice for vulnerable groups
✔️ green and blue innovation and start-ups
✔️ good governance, cooperation, and capacity building at the local level.
Together, we are opening a new chapter of cooperation for a #green, #democratic, and #resilient Europe 🌱
