A training session on GrACE and Multisite took place on 9 October 2026 bringing together representatives of the National Focal Point, Programme Operators, and Intermediate Bodies involved in the implementation of the EEA Grants in Greece.
Organised by the National Focal Point, the session was delivered by experts from the Financial Mechanism Office (FMO), with the aim of strengthening participants’ skills in programme management, reporting and communication during the 2021–2028 funding period.
GrACE: Supporting Programme Management
The first part of the training focused on GrACE, the platform supporting programme management, monitoring and reporting processes.
Participants explored the platform’s functionalities and addressed practical aspects of managing programme information, calls for proposals, bilateral initiatives, financial reporting and implementation monitoring.
Particular attention was given to new features and ways to make the most of the platform in day-to-day programme management.
Multisite: Communication, Storytelling and Digital Presence
The second part of the session was dedicated to Multisite, the platform used to manage programme websites and communicate activities, developments and results.
Through hands-on exercises, participants explored how to publish news articles, events, documents and other content, as well as how to manage programme websites effectively.
The session also highlighted the role of communication strategies and storytelling in making the achievements of EEA Grants-supported projects more visible and bringing forward the people and experiences behind them.
Learning and Working Together
Beyond technical skills, the training provided an opportunity to exchange experiences, discuss practical challenges and strengthen collaboration among the organisations involved in implementing the EEA Grants in Greece.
The sessions were delivered by Sindre Hervig, Communication Officer, Giovanni Bastianello and Nathan Ricks, Information Technology Officers, from the FMO.
The National Focal Point warmly thanks the trainers for sharing their expertise and all participants for their active engagement and contributions.
Continuous learning, knowledge-sharing and cooperation are essential to building a strong and connected EEA Grants community and supporting the effective implementation of the new funding period.
Because working together also means learning together.
