The eGovCollab project brings together the University of Macedonia (UOM) and the University of South-Eastern Norway (USN), with support from the Greek National Infrastructures for Research and Technology (GRNET), to enhance electronic governance and digital public service delivery.
By leveraging UOM’s expertise in public service modeling, personalized information, eParticipation, and AI/data analytics, along with USN’s specialization in public service digitization, democracy, and e-government, eGovCollab aims to address a key challenge: providing citizens with personalized information on Implementation Measures. The project seeks to simplify complex public service requirements, manage diverse sub-cases efficiently, and enhance service delivery without exponentially increasing case descriptions.
Beyond its technical goals, the project fosters knowledge exchange and long-term collaboration between the two universities in Greece and Norway. Within this framework, eGovCollab has two primary objectives:
- Strengthening Institutional Collaboration
The project facilitates knowledge exchange across various research areas, paving the way for a Memorandum of Understanding to formalize long-term cooperation in research and education. - Improving Public Services through Personalized Information
eGovCollab will develop technical solutions and policy recommendations to enhance the provision of personalized information to citizens, improving access and usability of digital public services.
The project’s outcomes are expected to benefit not only the partners directly involved but also society as a whole, through innovative solutions and policy recommendations.
